Job Requirements – Caregiver

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Ability to follow care plans and company policies

• Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable

• Ability to maintain client confidentiality

• Physically able to assist with daily living activities (lifting, standing, bending as needed)

Experience & Skills

• Previous caregiving, home health, or personal care experience preferred (but not required)

• Experience assisting with:

  • Personal hygiene and grooming

  • Meal preparation

  • Light housekeeping

  • Companionship

  • Medication reminders

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor

• Strong time-management and organizational skills

Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)

• CPR and First Aid certification

• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Availability

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including:

  • Weekdays

  • Weekends

  • Holidays (as needed)

Screening Requirements

• Willingness to undergo:

  • Background check

  • Reference checks

• Ability to provide three professional or personal references

Work Environment

• In-home caregiving setting

• Must follow safety procedures and infection control practices.
